The content of Bush Mechanic Training course includes:

- Preventative maintenance checks and fault finding

Commercial 4wd Training— Operate And Maintain A Four Wheel
Drive Vehicle (RIIVEH305A) - One day course
Aimed at the needs of the commercial sector where this course
is nationally recognized. RIIVEH305A includes safety, maintenance
and vehicle familiarization as well as operating off road and
using equipment to get out of a bog. Practice the use of a snatch
strap, correct use of low and high range, planning for safety
and environmental considerations and much more.

Advanced Security Operatorand Semi Hostile environment — Driver Training
WA 4WD Training provides a tactical driver course
designed to prepare personnel for operations in high security
threat environments. This course is focused on the needs of corporate,
government and security personnel who may be exposed to terrorism,
extortion, gang or criminal related violence in their working/living
environment.
The course involves the development and practice
of skills such as:
- Evasive driving techniques
- j turns and brake turns
- VIP protection team Driver Skills
- Offensive/defensive vehicle skills- P.I.T Maneuver, barrier
evasion
- High speed cornering and Braking techniques
- Skid control
- Adapting to Driving on varying road surfaces
- Vehicle handling and capabilities
- Vehicle suitability to suit task
- Task planning and Leadership Procedures
Delivery will be provided by Australian ex SASR instructors
with many years of both operational experience and training
provider experience in high threat areas throughout the world.
Training can be conducted to suit your needs both in Australia
and offshore. Elements of the course will be conducted on a
close circuit with safety and practical learning as a priority.

Commercial remote Area Survival and 4wd Training— One day
Risks faced by employees in remote areas until now have not been
addressed in the basic suite of courses taught during induction
processes. In order to address this safety issue, WA 4WD Training delivers training which will
help mitigate the hazards of remote area travel and provide personnel
with the essential skills and knowledge to survive until assistance
arrives. Courses conducted locally or at site.
The one day training package covers the competencies required
in the Nationally Accredited Training Certificate Operate and
Maintain a 4wd Vehicle, however, introduces the participants to
the following new remote survival skills:
- Planning considerations for travel in remote areas
- Vehicle safety and maintenance for remote travel.
- identify and establish the essentials to survival.
- Challenge trainees to think laterally about survival aspects
- Teach basic navigation skills to aid outback awareness and
confidence
- Utilize advanced recovery techniques to free a stranded vehicle
- Provide the knowledge to operate vehicle radios.

Commercial Remote Area Survival and 4wd Training— Two days
(Includes RIIVEH305A- Operate and Maintain a 4wd Vehicle)
The two day training package covers the competencies required
in the Nationally Accredited Training Certificate Drive and Recover
a 4wd Vehicle however exposes the participants to the following
new remote survival skills:
- Repair a flat tyre in the bush with minimum tools
- Identify and establish the essentials to survival.
- Challenge trainees to think laterally about survival aspects
- Teach basic navigation skills to aid outback awareness and
confidence
- Utilize advanced recovery techniques to free a stranded vehicle
- Provide the knowledge to operate a satellite communications
device.
- Camp overnight in the field to expose trainees to difficulties
and develop teamwork ( if so desired)
- Navigate using the stars
- Use various methods to start a camp fire
Trainees will need to bring a sleeping bag or swag; water bottle,
a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and a day carry pack. All other equipment
is provided. Courses conducted locally or at site.

Recreational Coastal 4 Wheel Driver-One day Course, Sand and Beach
This one day package is totally practical and is designed to
build confidence and competence off road in your own 4wd. The
training will train and practice the participants in:
- Beach driving
- Sand dunes
- Coastal limestone tracks
- Soft sand recovery
- Sand driving techniques and
- Vehicle familiarization and safety.
- Winching techniques and snatch strap use
Cost - $300 per vehicle with up to 2 adults (children

Recreational— Hills, One day- Rock, mud
and water 4 Wheel Driver Training
This one day package is conducted in steep mud and clay terrain
in your own vehicle. The course is very exciting and challenge
levels are tailored to your individual skill level. The training
will expose the participant to:
- Steep ascents and descents
- Creek crossings (weather dependant)
- Winches and High lift jacks
- Route selection over rough tracks
- Snatch strap use
- Advanced 4wd techniques and
- Vehicle familiarization and safety

Advanced All Terrain 4 wheel driver— Two days
This training package incorporates all the skills in both the
coastal sand package and the Hills package. Drivers will become
confident and self reliant in reaching remote areas in their own
4wd vehicle and able to recover themselves should they get stuck.
Towing skills are incorporated as this package is popular with
tourers heading away on outback trips. We will include an overnight
camp at one of the very scenic training areas if you wish. Tents
and cook equipment supplied.
Cost - $585 per vehicle ( additional passenger and children
no charge)

4wd Camps— Adventure Bush camps— corporate/recreational
(Individuals and groups welcome)
These group camps are conducted monthly (usually on the last
weekend of the month) and allow the participants to build on their
own 4wd skills and become confident in their own vehicle. Our
instructor, Stuart is available to give 4wd guidance and answer
questions. Sit around the camp fire at day’s end and enjoy
WA's beauty. The camps are adventure based and enjoyed by all
age groups.
